A vaulted 17th-century cellar with medieval stone walls, at 16 rue Benoît Bunico, down a small alley in Nice Old Town. House creations, mocktails, a selection of spirits, and evenings whose program changes every two weeks. Open every night since May 2022.
The house creations carry the first names of the founders' family: Edmonde, Marie-Madeleine, Rosie, Germaine. They sit alongside the great classics, a real mocktail menu built like cocktails, and a selection of gins, whiskies and other spirits.
Night by night, an open jam session for musicians, hosted karaoke, a drag show, flamenco, music trivia, a DJ set or a live band. The program changes every two weeks; dates and times are on the Events page.

Les Folies d'Edmonde, a Nice cocktail bar opened in May 2022, is at 16 rue Benoît Bunico, a four-minute walk from cours Saleya, eight minutes from place Masséna and twelve minutes from the Promenade des Anglais. The menu brings together house creations such as Edmonde, Marie-Madeleine, Rosie and Germaine, the great bar classics, from the French 75 to the Boulevardier by way of the Espresso Martini, and mocktails composed like real cocktails, not like flavored sodas.
Our story
Les Folies d'Edmonde opened in May 2022 at 16 rue Benoît Bunico, a small alley in Nice Old Town that corresponds to the former Giudaria, Nice's historic Jewish quarter. The cellar is a single room: medieval stone walls left exposed, vaults added in the 17th century, a low ceiling. Since opening, the team has served more than 88,000 cocktails and hosted over 800 evenings.
The layout of rue Benoît Bunico and its tall houses date from the time when the Giudaria was Nice's Jewish quarter, until the 18th century; the stone walls of the cellars, for their part, are medieval. Gates once closed off the street at nightfall: they are gone, but the arcades remain.

I've traveled to nearly 25 countries, been in hundreds of bars. This may be the best bar I've ever been to in the world. The owners are incredibly kind, the service is great, the drinks are incredible, and the fun and vibe downstairs is just unmatched. Karaoke with people from all over the world is a fun experience I'll never forget!
