Your intimate wedding party in Nice
For an intimate wedding, Les Folies d'Edmonde can be hired privately: a 17th-century vaulted cellar in the heart of Old Nice, for up to 50 guests. On the program, the house creations, live musicians and a dance floor until 1am, or 3am with the late-closing option. Several weddings have already been celebrated here: the venue and the team know the score.
What private hire includes for a wedding
A simple principle: the venue, the bar and the music are yours. All that's left is choosing the table plan.
- The vaulted cellar, or the entire venue with the ground floor and the terrace on the pedestrian lane, hired privately with a minimum spend and no hire fee
- A bar team for you alone: house creations, classics, mocktails and alcohol-free versions, counted toward the minimum spend
- Strolling band for the aperitif and the evening, quoted on request
- Full DJ equipment and an equipped stage: bring your DJ, or plug in your playlist
- Open until 1am, and until 3am with the late-closing option (€400)
- Coordination with your caterer or the neighbouring restaurants: they deliver to the cellar, and you can bring your own food at no charge
A minimum spend, no hire fee
No room to rent: you commit to a minimum spend — €1,200 for the cellar Tuesday to Thursday and Sunday, €1,500 on Fridays, Saturdays and Mondays, €2,000 for the entire venue. The difference is charged if the minimum is not reached.
Only the meal is down to you. We have no kitchen, but there are three ways to go about it: the neighboring restaurants (OKA Nice, Fish Bar 2.0, Etna Rosso) deliver straight to the cellar, you can bring your own food at no charge, or you can call on the caterer of your choice, with whom we coordinate the logistics.
Late-closing option until 3am: €400. Invoice with VAT for companies. Detailed quote within 24 hours of a first conversation about your plans.

How much does a wedding at Les Folies d'Edmonde cost?
There is no hire fee: you commit to a minimum spend, namely €1,200 for the cellar Tuesday to Thursday and Sunday, €1,500 on Fridays, Saturdays and Mondays, and €2,000 for the entire venue. The late-closing option until 3am costs €400. Detailed quote within 24 hours.
How many guests can we bring?
Up to 50 guests with full private hire, around 35 of them seated in the vaulted cellar. The venue suits intimate weddings, not very large receptions.
What about the food?
We have no kitchen: the neighboring restaurants (OKA Nice, Fish Bar 2.0, Etna Rosso) deliver to the cellar, you can bring your own food at no charge, or come with the caterer of your choice, with whom we coordinate the logistics.
Who takes care of the music?
The choice is yours: a strolling band for an acoustic mood, full DJ equipment and an equipped stage for your DJ or your playlist. Musicians, DJs and drag artists are quoted on request.
How late can the party go?
For a private wedding, the bar can stay open until 1am, and until 3am with the late-closing option (€400), well beyond our usual 12:30am closing.
How far in advance should we book?
Several weddings have already been celebrated here and Saturdays go quickly: allow 2 to 6 months ahead if you can. For a closer date, write to us all the same; we reply within 24 hours.
