At Les Folies d'Edmonde, you don't sing in a corner: you take the stage. A 17th-century vaulted cellar in the heart of Nice Old Town, warm lighting, a host to lead the evening, the house cocktails and over 10,000 songs to choose from. Here, karaoke feels like a cabaret.
An open stage, not a closed booth
The stage takes 2 to 3 microphones, for singing solo or together. The lyrics screens face the singers only: the room doesn't read a teleprompter, it watches and listens. Every turn is shared with the audience, instead of being reduced to a synchronized read-along.
A host, and sound adjusted live
A host leads the evening. Songs are requested on paper, and the host adjusts the equalization and reverb of each voice, live. No limit on songs per person: everyone should sound good, however in tune they are.

Between turns on stage, the whole menu is served: house creations, great classics, mocktails and alcohol-free versions. The Marie-Madeleine is one of our creations.

We have no kitchen, but three neighboring restaurants, OKA Nice, Fish Bar 2.0 and Etna Rosso, deliver to the cellar every day; you pay the restaurant for the meal. On a private hire, you can also bring your own food at no charge.

What style of songs can I sing at Les Folies?
Any style. The choice is yours from over 10,000 songs: French pop, international hits, rock, soul, classics from the 90s and 2000s. No set theme, no preselection.
What time does karaoke start at Les Folies?
The bar opens at 6 pm and karaoke usually starts around 8:30 pm: have dinner in the neighborhood first, or have it delivered to the cellar by the neighboring restaurants. The first songs ease the room in, the pace picks up after 10 pm, and the night runs until 12:30 am.
How much does a karaoke night at Les Folies cost?
There's no cover charge and no stage fee: you only pay for what you order at the bar (€13-15 for a house creation, €13-14 for a classic, €10 for a mocktail, €11 for an alcohol-free version; wine and champagne too). For up to 20 guests, your group can book a table through the online form.
Can we sing in English or other languages at Les Folies?
Yes. The catalog includes English-language and international hits, K-pop, and Italian and Spanish classics. On weekends, English-speaking expats and tourists come in numbers: the room mixes French and English, with no pressure about skill or language.
