At Les Folies d'Edmonde, you don't sing in a corner: you take the stage. A 17th-century vaulted cellar in Nice Old Town, warm lighting, a dedicated host, house cocktails — and free choice from over 10,000 songs. A karaoke night staged like a cabaret.
The stage accommodates 2 to 3 microphones for solos or group performances. Its key feature: the lyrics screens face the singers only. The audience doesn't read along — they watch a real performance. Every turn becomes a shared moment with the room, not a synchronised read-along.
A dedicated host manages the evening in real time: song selection on paper (no cold tablet), sound equalisation adjustment and custom reverb for each voice. No song limit per person. The goal is for everyone to sound good, regardless of pitch.
Between stage turns, the signature cocktail menu is there to elevate the evening. The Marie-Madeleine cocktail (raspberry purée, vodka and blackberry cream liqueur) is especially popular on karaoke nights: smooth, fruity and indulgent. For those who want to combine dinner and karaoke, partner restaurants OKA Nice, Fish Bar 2.0 and Etna Rosso come and serve you directly at your table in the cellar — you settle the bill with the restaurant.

The bar opens at 6pm and karaoke usually starts around 8:30pm, after dinner from our partner restaurants for those who want to eat first. The first songs ease the room in, things pick up after 10pm. The night runs until 12:30am.
No cover charge, no stage fee: you pay only what you drink at the bar (€12-15 per signature cocktail, €9 per mocktail, beers and wines available). Plan around €25-40 per person for a full night including drinks. Groups can request a cocktail package.
